Here is the fifth wave.

The creative puzzle offers the usual prize of membership of the Hunters' Club and opportunity of re-entering the Masque.

The special puzzle offers two of you the chance to join myself in Mr Grandison's hunting party next Saturday 15th March, with of course complimentary tickets into the Masque that night.

The deadline for both is Thursday midnight. Answers are to be emailed to me.

I realised that it may never have been made clear that there are separate prizes for each puzzle. So answering one and getting lucky with the magic dice may be enough for tickets and Hunters’ Club. Answering both of course will double your chances!

Took me a little time to set this, but here are the fruits of my endeavour.

I am sticking with the columnar transposition for this week at least, despite some grumblings. But I've added a jingle to it, as you'll see!

And my more creative puzzle this time is possibly fiendish, possibly not.

There are more prizes now for solving each puzzle, as we need more and more people to go into the Masque as the end of our Hunt surely approaches. But to gain the usual pair of tickets and entry into the Hunters' Club, you need to submit your answer or answers by email to me by noon on Friday and then be lucky enough to be chosen by my magic dice.

I'm not going to label one of these as being easy, as I thought the columnar transposition cipher last time would prove easy but a lot of you said it was tricky. I'm rolling out another of these pesky columnars and I've gone a little more creative too. I hope I'm getting into the swing!

The first easy cipher

Now be gentle with me. This is the first cipher puzzle I've set in my life and Sonia set the bar very high indeed. I hope this is an easy one. It's meant to be. The deadline is next Friday at noon (by then I'll have made a hard puzzle to reveal the first part of Moray's sheet of code). For this one, as before, pairs of tickets can be gotten for the correct entries drawn out of the hat.
